Second, Allison was absolutely amazing. The knowledge she provided and the honesty in her ability to answer questions was super.

The amount of gongs on display was epic.

Being able to play each and everyone really educated me on what I like and don’t like in a gong.

Prices range is decent but you will not find a $50 dollar special junk gong.

All gongs are priced very fairly and reasonable.

This shop sells the real deal gongs.

They had crystal and brass bowls but I did not look at them up close but also looked like quality stuff.

The only thing I can say that I had a hard time with is now I want to buy multiple gongs.

Nothing on the gong shop.

Clearly they stock something for everyone.


I would highly recommend anyone looking for a gong to schedule an appointment and check it out.

Also it is mentioned on their website that not all gongs on their website are in store. So make sure if there is a specific gong you want to see make sure they have it in store.

I did not have anything in mind other than see what speaks to me.

There were 6 gongs I fell in love with.

There is something for everyone.

Large selection of gongs, Tibetan bowls, and koshi chimes. I enjoyed my appointment, and quickly found two, smaller gongs I liked with a double stand plus a set of bowls. Pleasant, knowledgeable professional percussionist showed me around and answered all my questions. Recommend! Fun shop.

This place is awesome - what a gem to find right in SF! Very happy with everything I’ve gone home with. Garrett is very helpful in picking out what you need and walking you through the basics if that’s what you need. He knows his stuff.
